THANKS EVERYONE!!!

There are so many people who have impacted my life in so many positive ways and that’s who I dedicate this last fight to. I am continually reminded of how blessed I am, and eternally thankful! No Decision MMA — great shorts, loved em!  Thanks, John. Dan Leith and George Lockhart are the best in the nutrition game– what can I say, they have the GAME on lock since I made it to 144.8! Ranger UP….I’m way too excited to be working with you guys — everything about the company and style is me…..and I’m honored to be a part of it. Thank you to my boxing coach Rafael.  You and your family are amazing, and working with you is a disadvantage to any opponent of mine. Meg, you are such a BOSS!  I never question the hard work and support you put in (move to California with me!)  (: Finally, Colton Smith–  whose weigh-in is tonight for his pro card tommorow night.  The only way I can put it is that if I were to search in Google for MMA fighter, athlete, and coach, I hope that your picture and contact would pop up.  I already feel sorry for your opponent,  since you’re like a train headed to the top.  And from what I’ve seen I just hope they have enough time to jump out of the way.  Thank you for everything! PS— Thanks Justin T. for remembering the date! Below are some pictures from my Fight Night!...

Fight Round Up & Marine Corps Times Feature!

Hey all! Kelsey will be blogging soon all about her fight, but I wanted to share this article by Dan Lamothe of the Marine Corps Times about Kelsey’s Operation Octagon first round knockout victory on Saturday night.  Check the video with full coverage of the fight too! 🙂 Meg Justin Timberlake’s Marine date dominates MMA match In the blink of an eye, it was over. Justin Timberlake may want to take notice. Cpl. Kelsey De Santis, the Marine who famously invited the singer and actor to attend the Marine Corps birthday ball with her, competed Saturday night in Operation Octagon XVI, a mixed martial arts event in Sterling, Va. To say it was a one-sided fight would be an understatement. De Santis, fighting in the 145-pound featherweight title fight, pummeled her opponent, Stacy Sneeringer. With a flurry of energy, De Santis took Sneeringer to the mat early, and finished her off 2:51 into the fight with a series of punches and elbows to the face. The match never made it to Round 2. Staff photographer James J. Lee and I attended the event, held at the Dulles Sportsplex. Check out his video here: As you can see, the 5-foot-9 De Santis had a large following in the crowd of about 300 people. She took the the microphone in the ring afterward and thanked a variety of people, including her coaches and fellow Marines at the Martial Arts Center for Excellence in Quantico, Va. She also acknowledged all the hoopla surrounding the sensation her YouTube invitation created. “I’m looking forward,” she said, “to going to the Marine Corps birthday ball with Justin Timberlake.” On came one of his signature songs, “SexyBack,” and the crowd...

Last WEEK!

Hi all! So this is my last week until my fight!  I am feeling great and very excited.  Weigh-ins are on Friday and I couldn’t be more happy.  I will be blogging some pictures afterwards to document me having abs (lol) because I’m sure they will be gone next week! I will try to make a vid to put up this week just to talk about all the other cool stuff going on. Thanks for all the “props” on the Rocky video we put together– lotta hard work and dedication on the cast and production side. In other news, I bought our tickets to the Marine Corps Ball last week!  It is for sure weird when you ask for an extra ticket just in case the guy you asked to come with you, “pause for effect” is J.T. and just might happen to show up.  I may have just giggled….. ( : Lastly…..we only have a few tickets left for my fight this Saturday, so check out the Shop section to get your orders in.  We also have a really sweet T-Shirt for sale–first come, first serve, so make sure to place your order!  Long sleeve shirts are $25, short sleeves are $22. P.S. check out this photo that my bro Kyle made for me! He’s pretty creative what can I say. ( ;...

Kelsey “ROCKY” De Santis

Hey guys! I’m super pumped about this lighter funny video we put together to kick off my training for the October 22 fight.  Philadelphia is a home away from home for me, so of course I had to get in the Rocky Balboa mindset for this training session!  And thanks to my very own Mick for encouraging me! Enjoy 🙂...
